App icon generator

One icon, every size both stores ask for, exported as a vector and as PNGs in a single download. Drawn in your browser, so the artwork never leaves it.

Last verified: 17 October 2026

1024, 512, 192 and 48 px PNG, plus an SVG

1024 for the App Store icon, 512 for the Play listing, 192 for xxxhdpi, 48 for the mdpi baseline, plus a vector for anything else — see app icon sizes.

How it works

  1. Start from a template or a colour

Eight starting points, or set your own solid colour or gradient with an angle.

  2. Choose the mark

A letter in a serif, sans or mono face, or upload an image and scale it inside the shape.

  3. Pick the shape

Square, squircle or round, with an adjustable corner radius. Apple masks its own corners and Android launchers mask theirs, so this is about how it reads to you, not about pre-baking a shape.

  4. Export

All sizes at once, a single size, or the SVG. In the kit zip they arrive under icon/, named per size.

What it does not do

ExportKit does not write your screenshots for you and there is no image generation in it: you bring the app screens and the words, and it handles layout, sizing and export. That is a deliberate line, not a missing feature — a generated store listing is a rejected store listing.

It does not generate icon artwork from a description, and it does not ship a logo library. You bring the letter or the image; it handles shape, colour, scaling and export.

It is free to use: 1080 × 1920 Play screenshots, the icon, the feature graphic, the full .zip and three screenshot template sets, with no watermark and no cap on exports. The rest of the template library is a one-time licence that is not on sale yet. You can start without an account; signing in with Google is what keeps the work between visits.

Questions

What sizes does the app icon generator export?

An SVG plus PNGs at 1024, 512, 192 and 48 pixels — the App Store icon, the Google Play listing icon, the xxxhdpi launcher size and the mdpi baseline.

Can I upload my own logo?

Yes. An image can be used as the mark inside the icon shape and scaled to fit. The file is read in your browser and is not uploaded to a server.

Does it export an SVG?

Yes, alongside the PNGs, so you can produce any density bucket or any other size later without redesigning.

Is the icon generator free?

Yes — the icon editor, every size it exports and the SVG are free, unwatermarked and uncapped.
